The participants for Rio Olympic Games 2016 from all over India are on the move to participate in prestigious event of the world. Maharashtra CM Devendra has conveyed best wishes message toall participants of Maharashtra state who are part of Indian contigent in games.

It may be noted that many participants from Maharashtra are part of Olympic contigent that includes Devindar Sunil Walmiki (Mid Fielder Hockey Player) resident of Marine Lines in Mumbai, Lalita Shivaji Babar (Satara) and Kavita Ramdas Raut (Nashik) both are Atheletics, Ayonika Asim Paul from Chembur Mumbai (Shooter), Dattu Baban Bhokanal resident of Talegaon near Pune (Rowing) and Prarthana Gulabrao Thombare resident of Barshi in Sholapur (Tennis).

CM Fadanvis said “Olympic is one of the prestigious sports event of the world and getting selected for participation in this sport from the nation itself is a moment of pride. All participating players should play their best innings. With their game they should help in shining name of the country and state too.

The CM was elated as National Anti Doping Association (NADA) has exonerated of Mumbai athlete Narsingh Yadav (Wrestler) who is a resident of Jogeshwari in western suburb of Mumbai. He conveyed his best wishes to him too.
