Handloom & Handicrafts Exhibition from Madhya Pradesh

Tribal Painting, MandlaA unique art exhibition showcasing handloom & Handicrafts created and presented by amazing artisans and master craftsmen from Madhya Pradesh will be held in Maharashtra State Bharat Scout Guide pavilion, Shivaji Park, Opp Mayors Bunglos, Veer Savarkar Marg, Dadar (w), Mumbai from 26th to 30th September, 2017 between 9.30 am to 9.30 pm. This exhibition will showcase amazing handlooms and handicrafts traditionally made by artisans and master craftsmen through unique ethnic creations via vibrant colours.

Handloom & Handicraft exbn from  Madhya Pradesh 1This unique exhibition will showcase numerous varieties such as exclusive Chanderi, Maheshwari, Tussar silk Sarees, Suits, Readymade garments, Handloom and printed Bedcovers, Bell-metal, Gond paintings, Gold thewa jewellery and many more varieties in textiles. This unique exhibition has been organized by Mrignayanee (Madhya Pradesh Govt.) in association with M/s Maithilee Services.

Mrignayanee – A unit of M. P. Hastshilp Vikas Nigam has been a focal point for all its endeavors since long. Through its countrywide network, it has successfully showcased the works of several talented artisans and master craftsmen thereby giving them constant means of employment to earn their livelihood. The Nigam has set up several craft development centre and common facility centre across the length and breadth of Madhya Pradesh as well as other parts of our country. In a way, it is therefore a golden opportunity for all art lovers & collectors to enjoy and get enlightened by vivid facets of handicrafts & handloom items presented by different talented artisans & masters craftsmen on a large scale and thereby encourage them.
