Once again there is another feather in the cap of The Lalit New Delhi Hotel. The Lalit hotel New Delhi won coveted National Tourism Award for 2015-16 for being adjudged “Hotel Providing Best Facilities for Differently Abled”. The Lalit hotel has won this award for the fourth time which itself is a great achievement.

The National award was given on the occasion of World Tourism Day on 27th September 2017 for the year 2015-16. The President of India Ramnath Kovind along with Minister of Tourism (Independent Charge) K J Alphons handed over National Award to Vivek Shukla, General Manager Corporate Affairs & The Lalit New Delhi, in glittering ceremony held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi.

Vivek Shukla, General Manager Corporate Affairs & The Lalit New Delhi after receiving coveted National Award said “The Lalit group of hotel is well known for providing best of the facilities to their esteemed guest right from its inception. Winning same award for the fourth time, itself is recognition of our continous efforts and our best services recognised on the national level”.

Shukla added “The Lalit New Delhi has incorporated various bespoke features and facilities for the convenience and comfort of differently abled guests, including anaccessible Kitty Su, the award winning night club of the hotel.  Offering, four dedicated rooms with inter-connecting set for attendants and fully equipped bathrooms for special needs, the hotel has dedicated one room for every hundred rooms for differently abled guests”.

“The five guest elevators are all wide enough for wheel chair access along with Braille sign on every call button and an audio announcement for each floor.  There is a dedicated parking slot with signage at the main porch along with a special ramp with anti skid mat for facilitating the guest’s to enter the hotel through a dedicated access area.  Restaurant tables are designed in a way to accommodate guests on a wheel chair and both lobby and banqueting levels of the hotel have dedicated restrooms for differently abled guest” Shukla further added.
