Aaheli, one of the first Bengali cultured restaurants in India by The Peerless Inn, Kolkata introduces an exclusive Bengali Food Festival at Jamavar. There is an extensive spread of traditional delicacies and local favourites; this festival brings together the timeless flavours from the city of joy.

The menu features a variety of traditional Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Bengali delicacies. Appetizers includes like Mochar Chop, Piyaz Postor Bora, Pur Bhora Bhetki and Rui Macher Patishpata to name a few.

The main course includes regional specialties like Kasha Mangsho, Rui Macher Jhol, Daab Chingri Pelobota, Chirantani Chitol Muithaa, Kochi Panthar Jhol and also featured the classic Dhumrogondhi Ilish.

Vegetarians can savour Piyaj Aloo Posto, Dhokar Dalna, Potoler Dorma,  Mono Mohini Begun Bahar (Brinjal cooked with a thick mustard gravy and much more. Complement your meal with Rajokiyo Radha Ballabi and Motor Shutir Kochuri. This special menu will also feature traditional rice preparations like Chingri Polao, Suravi Polao, Mangsho Polao and local favourites like Sugandhi Gobindobhog and Narkel Diye Cholar Dal. The Bengali desserts includes Gur er Rajbhog, Misti Doi or Monolobha Maalpoa.
