Under -19 World Cup: Maha Governor and CM felicitate team members

The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis felicitated Under 19 Cricket Team members at the programme held at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on Wednesday.

U- 19 team’s captain Prithvi Shaw, bowling coach and former India player Paras Mhambrey and player Aditya Thackeray was also honoured during the meet.

The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao said “The under 19 cricket team has won World Cup fourth time by defeating Australian cricket team. The continuous team spirit and efforts are appreciative and hopeful in future too”.   State sports minister Vinod Tawde, BJP MLA and Mumbai Cricket Association president Ashish Shelar were also present at the event as per press release issued by Raj Bhavan.
