Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum (HPMF), an association of hotel purchase managers in the country, has restructured the steering committee in northern region. The restructuring event was held at newly built venue namely Noida Expo Mart at Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh.
HPMF’s main aim for restructuring is with the view of larger objective of being global and most aspired forum. Newly restructured steering committee of North region, has vast experience in to their trade and are great visionary in terms of expansion of HPMF. Newly restructured committee will bring in more energy in periods to come.
The newly restructured team consists of the seasoned professionals from the leading hospitality industry. It includes Sanjay Verghese – President (The Imperial), Arvind Mathur – VP (Radisson India), Priya Malhotra – General Secretary (Wizcraft), Amit Aggarwal – Joint Secretary (Radisson Greater Noida) and Tarun Chaturvedi – Joint Secretary (Fraser Suites).
It may be noted that HPMF North Zone has picked up pace with several activities last year which were well attended and well appreciated all over. The last year’s prestigious events included included tie up with THSC, CII, FITEX, Messe Frankfurt, India Food Show. The superlative launch of *UDAAN* at The Oberoi New Delhi created history in minds of every participant and was talk of the town.
Besides restructured committee other team of office bearers consists of Anshuman Singh, Umashankar, Suneel Dutt Kothari, Ashwani Goyal and Sanjay Wattal. Whereas Amitabh Srivastavais is media and PR Head and Basil Massey is membership enrolment head. The mentors are Shiv Menon, Kaushik Jhingan, Jairaj Singh, Sanjay Goyal and Ms Madhu Chandhok.
It was also decided that the HPMF Advisory Board will also go through restructuring to induct renowned industry experts, new faces, young professionals from diversified functions or industry. Few names are cropped up during the meeting and proposed for further expansion includes: Aman Nath, Rahul Pandit, Pankaj Mehta, Marcel Parker and Sonali Sinha. The inclusion of these people will bring in experience of varied professionals from different fields.
Speaking to Mumbai Messenger, Nitin Shankar Nagrale – founder General Secretary HPMF said “We are happy with manyfold growth of HPMF in last last seven years and have organised events of Global standards. We are planning to launch HPMF Srilanka Chapter on 4th July at Colombo. The plans are also on advanced stage to launch the Nepal, Bangladesh chapters very soon. Our annual awards event is also slated to be held in Varanasi in October 2018”.
