Hotel Purchasing Manager Forum (HPMF) is going stronger and expanding its base inforeign lands too. During the International Housekeepers Summit (HIS) at Sri Lanka, HPMF’s Sri Lanka Chapter was launched with much fanfare. The launch ceremony was held on July 4th 2018 in Hotel Shangri-La Colombo.
After launching their Middle East Chapter, in Dubai in February 2018, it is their second launch on International soil. The launch event was attended by several industry professionals from Asia which mostly consisited of Housekeepers, buyers, General Manager’s and hotel owners. The council members for HPMF Sri Lanka chapter would be announced soon. New council will take forward the vision of HPMF to all possible members.
HPMF committee members from India who attended launch event in Sri Lanka included Shiv Singh Rajpurohit of Jodhpur, Jwala Srinivas of Hyderabad, Nitin Nagrale of Mumbai along with Mohan Deshpande.
It maybe noted that it’s been seven and half years since HPMF launched its first chapter in Mumbai on 26th November 2010. HPMF has grown manyfold in these years. Now it has over 12 Chapters in India and 2 on foreign lands. The membership base has increased from initial 3 to almost 2000 members across India and Middle East. The membership is increasing day by day and it would have good base of professionals under one umbrella.
Nitin Nagrale, HPMF’s founder General Secretary said “HPMF is become a name synonymus in the hospitality industry. It is gaining popularity and its member base is increasing rapidly. We at HPMF intend to launch the Nepal and Bangladesh chapters before our annual convetion which would be held at Varanasi from 25th to 27th October 2018”.
