It’s a holy month of Shravan and people turns to sattvic and vegetarian food. Hilton Mumbai hotel has organised a Sattvic Food Festival that will continue till 8th September in The Brasserie restaurant. Sattvic Food Festival is conceptualised by Head Chef Balaji Srinivasan and his team. The food is served on Ala carte and Sattvic Thali.
Satvik Food is pure and fresh vegetarian food that is prepared without the influence of onion and garlic, and with very little spices. It is a diet based on food in Ayurveda and Yoga literature that contain sattva quality (guna). Sattvic diet is meant to include food and eating habit that is “pure, essential, natural, vital, energy-containing, clean, conscious, true, honest, and wise”.

Our head chef has done extensive research before incorporating Saatvic food festival”.
