Those who loves Bohri food has reason to cheer. Kohinoor Continental hotel has begun with ten days Bohri food festival. The ongoing food festival is open during Lunch and Dinner till September 2nd, 2018 at their prominent restaurant Solitaire.
Rare Bohra cuisine is hosted by Bohra-specialty Chef Abdul Rauf and Chef Majid Ali. They have learned lessons of Bohra cuisine from Bohri Muslim Guru. Both chefs have travelled extensively hosting lot many Bohri Food Festivals across world and were well appreciated.
Especially curated Bohri cuisine includes Sodanu (sweet rice), Kalamro, Pineapple Halwa, Thuli, Pina Pome grenadine, Bir, Sarki, Gol Paani, The Dabba Ghosht, Smoked Mutton Kheema Samosa, Smoked Daal Samosa, Chana Bateta, Guvar Bateta, Mutton Shahi Kebab, Khiri, Bheja ni Cutlet, Cream Tikka, Green Doongar chicken, DCP (Dal Chawal Palidu), Baingan Bharta, Mutton Kheema etc. Few items on menu will change every day while main course items will remain same the entire fest. In Solitaire restaurant Bohri cuisine accompanied by décor inspired from Bohra roots, as True Bohris would simply love the ambiance.
