Mumbaikar’s have a great opportunity to indulge in authentic Malaysian cuisine, prepared with fresh aromatic herbs and ingredients. Indulge in a week long Malaysian food festival at Glasshouse of Hyatt Regency Mumbai is being organised. The festival is organised in association with the Malaysian Consulate and Tourism Malaysia in Mumbai.
The Glass House is transformed into a culinary journey of Malaysian food extravaganza with an aromatic menu curated by Chef Taripin bin Osip is especially flown from Hyatt Regency Kinabalu to present his authentic creation.
The food festival was inaugurated by Consul General of Malaysia in Mumbai Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim along with Mohd Hafiz Hashim, Director-Tourism Malaysia, Mumbai and Hardeep Marwah – General Manager Hyatt Regency hotel on Monday evening.

Consul General of Malaysia in Mumbai Eldeen Husaini Mohd Hashim said “The Malaysian cuisine is one of the finest cuisine people of Mumbai can relish. Food festivals serve as platforms for sharing cultural expression of authentic traditional food. In the past we have organised many food festivals in Mumbai’s leading hotels and other parts of India too. This time also we have chalked out extensive plan to promote Malaysian cuisine and culture in Mumbai in 2017. The food festivals bring people closer to each other”.
Mohd Hafiz Hashim, Director-Tourism Malaysia, Mumbai says “The Malaysian Food Festival is a great way to promote Malaysia by showcasing the various cuisines of the country to Indians. Malaysia is a melting pot of diversity where Malays, Indians and Chinese. Malaysian food is a combination of Malay, Indian and Chinese cuisines just like the eclectic Indian palate. I am sure that the Malaysian flavors will appeal to the taste buds of our Indian guests and tempt them to visit Malaysia for more!”
