Konkan area is predominantly a coastal belt which originates from Mumbai coast and cover Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts of Maharashtra state. Being a part of coastal zone sea food is more dominant in the belt but Chicken and mutton dishes are also liked very much. Chef Kedar Bobade Corporate Executive Chef at Degustibus Hospitality Private Limited has created exclusive dishes which are being served at Neel Indian Kitchen & Bar at Powai. These dishes will make you relish a different kind of taste. One must be thinking that being a coastal cuisine it must be only non vegetarian but that’s not true? While Kokani Muslim cuisine may come across as a gastronomy bending towards non-vegetarian fares, yet it has umpteen vegetarian dishes that are unique in their own right. Most of the vegetarian preparations were devised depending upon vegetables that grew in the home's backyard in the typical village houses.

The Neel restaurant is serving coursevise food right from Drink, appetizers, first course, second course, accompaniments and desserts too.    

Vegetarian delicacies includes Chatniche Bhajiye, Chana Batata, Khatoni, Bharleli Wangi, Paneer Bojar, Vegetable Haldoni, shenga Batachi Bhaji, Badi cha salna, Sherwa, Sol kadi, Khichdi, Masoor dal and Chawrachi roti to name a few.

Non Vegetarian dishes include Bangade Kelichya Paanat, Chicken cutlet, Akhni Gosht, Sukhi Kolbi, Kavtacho Bojar, Dum cha Mhaura, Kombdi cha salna and Hirwya masalyat maas. Traditional dessert includes Pelve which is a Muslim Crepe dessert.
