Akhil Bhartiya Agrawal Sammelan (ABAS)’s Thane branch organized a powerful dance talent competition namely “DANCE THANE DANCE”. The event was organized recently at Dr. Kasinath Ghanekar Auditorium, Thane. Well-known social activist and industrialist Mahesh Bansidhar Agarwal made special effort for the grand success of this programme by providing right platform to budding talents.

Senior social activist Dinesh Gokulchand Agrawal was the chief guest in this programme. Mudassar Khan, a well-known Bollywood choreographer, who has also judged in popular TV reality show 'Dance India Dance was the judge of the event. Other judges included Jury member of the International Film Festival of India Rekha Gupta, filmmaker Mansi Bagla and film actor Ramesh Goyal.

The entire auditorium was full with audiences and they felt a magnetic touch when contestants presented their various attractive dance performances. The competition was held in two categories namely groups and single and awards were kept for both categories. First award of Rs. 31,000 for group category and Rs. 21,000 for single category were given to winners. Whereas second and third winners were of Rs. 21,000 and Rs. 11000 and Rs. 5000 with trophy were awarded.

Speaking on the occasion of distributing awards Mudassar Khan while apeealed that “Emerging talent should always be encouraged at all time. The encouragement provides them with necessary vitamins for their further progress and they always perform in best way to be a winner”.

Summan Agrawal, National Secretary - Akhil Bharatiya Agrawal Sammelan said “For the upcoming and emerging talents, the platform of this organization is like blessings of God of Dance - Natraj. This is a fitting and classic stage which gives a prospect to enhance their abilities. It has unlocked a grander platform for upcoming talents and will sparkle nationwide and internationally”.
