1st Asian Housekeeper Awards to sizzle Mumbai

The final countdown has begun for Asia's largest gathering of Hospitality Housekeepers from 11 countries. The first-ever Asian Housekeeper Awards and Fashion Show of Hospitality Uniforms, IHS 2017 summit is being held at Hotel Sahara Star on September 8 - 9, 2017. The event is organised by I - Professional Housekeepers' Association (I – PHA), India and Clean India Journal.

Delegates from all over India and other countries are steadily pouring in Sahara Star hotel to be a part of prestigious ummit. Over 200 delegates from leading hotels of India as well as International destination like Newzealand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Dubai, Qatar, Doha, Maldives, Srilanka and Seychelles are participating in mega event.      


The first-ever Asian Housekeeper Awards and Fashion Show of Hospitality Uniforms, IHS 2017 will deliberate and define the working model between departments, thus Energizing the Synergies of Housekeeping, Procurement, Laundry and General Managers.

After a resounding success of the International Housekeepers' Summit in 2016 in August last year, the 2nd edition of IHS 2017 is organized in continuation. I – PHA and Clean India Journal will take the journey forward to redefine and reinvent the role of Housekeeping in the Hospitality Industry.


I-PHA India was founded by Renuka Vishwasrao, who is a Chairperson and currently working as Executive Housekeeper at Hotel Sahara Star. Vaishali P Sinha is founder general secretary, working as Director Housekeeping Meluha The Fern. Sonia Mittal is founder & social, PR, CSR Head and currently working as Executive Housekeeping Hotel Ramada Powai.
