India set to host Art of the Creole World Awards 2020: Chef D K to represent as Culinary Ambassador of Le Meridien

It’s a proud moment for Indian culinary fraternity. India’s leading celebrity Chef Davinder Kumar, Vice President Food Production – Le Meridien New Delhi and PresidentIndian Culinary Forum (ICF) was invited by ACADEMIE DE L’ART CULINAIRE DU MONDE CREOLE as Guest of Honor. The grand event was organized as 5th edition of culinary Art of the Creole World Awards. The event was held at at the Paris City Hall, France with much fanfare. It was attended by overseas territory Ministers and various Ambassadors of different countries and leading who’s who, on October 3rd, 2019.

It was a Gala Dinner orchestrated by 13 chefs from Mauritius for an unforgettable evening and place was looking lively and surrounded by positive energetic people. The event punctuated by awards trophies, regarding chefs who work for the development promotion and preservation of the Creole Gastronomy.

It is a proud moment for India, as India is the host country for the next forthcoming Award Ceremony which will be held in 2020. Celebrity Chef Davinder Kumar shall be representing as Culinary Ambassador of Le Meridien and ICF show casing Indian Gastronomy.

Chef Kumar was greeted by more than 500 plus gathering when he stood to address august gathering with thunder round of applause. All delegates were listening to his speech with earnest interest in pin drop silence at the venue. Soon after completion of event many delegates came forward and shook hands with him showing their appreciation to chef Kumar.

Speaking to Mumbai Messenger Chef Davinder Kumar said “Indian Culinary Art is gaining momentum all over the world. Next year, it will be a great opportunity for us to showcase Indian Culinary Art, cuisine on a global platform. I am sure people would participate to have a glance of it in larger gathering. I am feeling proud that I was well received in Paris by august gathering and cheered me up by thundering applause. Indian recipe is growing rapidly all across the globe, which is a positive sign”.
