India is a multi religious country with so many different traditions and cultures. Everyday a festival is celebrated here . People from all the religions celebrate their festival with great enthusiasm. And some festivals are a matter of great pride and honour to us Indians which is 26 th January the Repulic Day of India. Be it a Muslim Hindu Sikh Christian everyone in the country celebrates this day with a lot of love and respect as we all take pride in being an Indian. If we were to talk about history India 26 th January marks the day when India’s constitution came into effect. Even though we got freedom from the British on 15 th August 1947 but India was declared a democracy on the 26 th January 1950. This day is celebrated all over India especially at Rajpath, New Delhi.
