The Grilled food lovers have reason to cheer. The Ambassador, South Mumbai’s prominent hotel is hosting World of Grills food festival. The grills are exclusively designed from five countries including India. The ongoing World of Grills food festival will continue till March 15th, 2020.  

The action is at the “The Society” quaint restaurant of the hotel. No sooner you enter the restaurant, a well lit compact Griller is displayed at the entrance of the restaurant. It gives you real feeling of relishing authentic world class grills. Hostess and manager are on alert mode to greet you and to escort you to your table. 

So, How about that sweet hiss coming from spicy chicken breast when you pour sizzling hot barbecue sauce over it? Irresistible! Well, the Grills’ food fete at The Ambassador.  The hotel brings to the city some of the most unique and scrumptious grills. The grilled dishes which would be served during the festival include Indian, Lebanese, Moroccan, Chinese and American.  

Well known consultant Chef Sudhir Pai, the talented culinary wizard is hosting Grill Festival exclusively for their patrons, who cherish authentic non-vegetarian and vegetarian grills. The inspiration behind this festival is a culmination of the finest roasted delights cooked to perfection. The Grill menu has an interesting combination of vegetarian, poultry, seafood, beef and meats. 

Chef Pai’s rich experience with various hospitality brands has given him a perspective on the food he is specially curating for this festival but also a chance and freedom to mix and match his passion and expertise in the food he hand crafts. Some of the prominent grills from different countries that would be served during Grill festival are listed below.

Indian Kebab Grill: These include Tandoori Kukkad Hara Masala, Raan-e-sikandari and Barrah Kebab for non vegetarians. The vegetarian grills include Paneer Kalimiri Tikka and Broccoli Paneer Seekh Kebab to name a few. All Indian grills are served with kachumber salad. You can choose accompaniments that include Pulao Rice, Roti, Naan, Paratha and Dal Makhani.

Lebanese Grills: Prominent Non vegetarian Lebanse grills consists of Shish Tawook, Shish Kebab, Grilled Lamb Chops, Samak Hara, Spicy Grilled Lebanese fish and many more. There are ample choices for vegetarian that includes Lebanese Style Grilled Paneer and more to choose from. All Lebanese grills are served with Hummus and Vermicelli Rice /Pilaf Rice and Grilled Veggies to choose from.

Moroccan Grills: Prominent Non – Vegetarian Moroccan Grill dishes includes Grilled Chicken Cheromoula, Moroccan Lamb Kofta, Grilled Beef Steak with Zesty Moroccan Seasonings and Moroccan Salmon in Spicy Tomato Sauce. The vegetarian has choices like Moroccan style Paneer & Vegetable Skewers, Harissa Grilled Mushroom and many more. All Moroccan grills are served with Moroccan Chickpea Salad and Harissa, Dates & Orange Rice and Special Moroccan Vegetable Stew

Chinese Grills: It includes Grilled Chicken Breast with Black Bean Sauce, Chicken Yakitori Skewers, Pot-roasted Starnaise Chilli Lamb Barbecued Xinjiang Lamb Skewers, Char Grilled Lemongrass Beef Skewers. A vegetarian grill includes Grilled Lemongrass Paneer and Grilled Baby Corn to choose from. All Chinese grills are served with toss salad or raw papaya salad and fried rice or stir-fry noodles and stir-fry veggies. 

American Grills: Non Vegetarian Grills includes American Barbeque Chicken Legs, Cajun Grilled Chicken, Pesto Crusted Lamb Rack, American Beef Steak, Chilli Rubbed Salmon with Citrus Chilli Sauce & Cilantro. Vegetarians can choose from Grilled Barbeque Paneer Skewer,and Corn 3 Ways Corn on the Cob, Garlic Lemon Chilli Grilled Corn & Corn fritters to choose from. All American grills are served with French fries, Potato Wedges, Jacket Potatoes, Butter Herb Rice and Sauté veggies.
