Discusses transportation of workers to UP, Mathura

Member of Parliament from Mathura Padma Shri Awardee Hema Malini met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari  at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai today, 11th May 2020. She discussed various issues with Governor including safe transportation of workers from Maharashtra to Mathura and to other parts of Uttar Pradesh.It may be noted that in Mumbai and various part of Maharashtra large number of labourer / workers come from various part of Uttar Pradesh including Mathura. 

Hema Malini is elected BJP Member of Parliament from Mathura constituency an Indian actress, writer, director, producer, dancer and politician. During her career, she received eleven nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress, winning the award in 1973. Malini won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award and also the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honour awarded by the Government of India. She was conferred an Honorary Doctorate by Sir Padampat Singhania University in recognition of her contribution to Indian cinema.

Hema Malini was elected to the Rajya Sabha, the upper House of parliament, as a representative of the Bharatiya Janata Party. From 2003 / 2009. She was elected to the Lok Sabha in 2014 and 2019. She has been involved with charitable and social ventures. Currently, she is also a life member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
