Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on Saturday announced that he has wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film Atrangi Re.
The actor took to his Twitter handle to announce the same. Apart from him, the film also stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in lead roles. Kumar also thanked both his co-stars for supporting him throughout the film.
He shared his picture from the film and wrote, “It’s the last day of Atrangi Re and I can’t wait for you’ll to experience the magic created by @aanandlrai. Also, a big thank you to my co-stars Sara Ali Khan and @dhanushkraja for letting me be a part of this beautiful film. An @arrahman musical. Written by Himanshu Sharma.”
Atrangi Re is an Aanand L Rai directorial which features Sara Ali Khan in a double role. It is a love story in which Sara will be seen romancing Dhanush as well as Akshay.
Talking about the film, Aanand L Rai had earlier said, “All the three characters are funnily weird and it’s their emotional journey. I am always looking for partners who are as emotionally touched as I am with the story and all three of them are like that. Every character in this film has its own traits that will put them in an unseen space.”
Atrangi Re is scheduled to be released on August 6, 2021.
