Two different incidents of goonda rivalry have been reported from Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. A gang of drunkards attacked a young man from Kaniyapuram in Thiruvananthapuram. In another incident, a gang kidnapped a man and tortured him after stripping him. The visuals of the attacks have come out.
The rivalry between the gangs of hooligans has ended up in dangerous attacks.
In Kochi, Antony John who was attacked by the criminals has been admitted to hospital with serious injuries. According to police the incident took place on November 11.
Antony was kidnapped from Kadavanthra where he was attending a funeral. The arguments based on a Facebook post ended up in a fight and Antony was dragged into a car. He was brutally manhandled after taking him to Aluva and Angamaly. Meanwhile, the attackers stripped him and sprayed chilli on his eyes and genitals.
Police assumed that attacks rivalries between different gangs resulted in the attack. But Antony John stated that it is because of a controversial Facebook post. He also stated that the attack was under the leadership of Faisal.
