Experience the best of Nikkei cuisine, a bold fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors alongside eclectic cocktails from Henshin

Dashanzi, the progressive Asian restaurant and one of the finest gin bars in the country with breath-taking sea views at the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, brings to you a high-energy pop-up showcasing a bold fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine experience and eclectic cocktails from Henshin. The pop-up is scheduled from 20th to 29th May 2022 and to deliver an electrifying resto-bar experience with views of the Arabian Sea set against rich, stylish interiors.

Inspired by Beijing’s throbbing art district, Dashanzi at JW Marriott Juhu’s luxurious urban resort property is known for its polished and upscale décor and breath-taking sea views. After its successful Sidecar cross over, Dashanzi is now introducing the Henshin experience to the maximum city for guests to indulge in a unique combination of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. Experience the unexpected, a collaboration of two Marriott International Top 100 Restaurants and Bars by Marriott Bonvoy. Dashanzi and Henshin will offer eclectic flavours of Peru infused with the meticulous Japanese cooking technique for a remarkable gastronomic experience.

Looking closer to home, Dashanzi’s Chef de cuisine (CDC) Chef Rohit Chadha brings in his rich experience spanning over a decade that has empowered him with the knowledge and understanding of the finer nuances of Asian cuisine. Chef Rohit will be collaborating with Chef Juan Carlos of Henshin, who specializes in Nikkei cuisine and comes as an extremely experienced and passionate chef. The pop-up will offer connoisseurs and cocktail enthusiasts an opportunity to experience drinks crafted by Henshin’s chief mixologist Jakaria Yahya (Jaka). With a touch of originality from Chef Juan and the local knowledge of Chef Rohit, guests can indulge in an array of authentic Nikkei signatures

A special menu has been curated for the Dashanzi x Henshin pop-up some of the signatures include Tuna Foie Gras (made with tuna, teriyaki sauce and pan seared foie gras), Henshin Roll (crispy prawn, avocado, crab lump, unagi, ikura), to Concha, Verduras Robata, Kare Chicken Ramen and Salmon Al Miso amongst others.
