Talented and experienced Chef Mohit Tak, who returns from Taj Buckingham Palace Hotel, London, has been appointed as the Executive Sous Chef of the prestigious Taj Rambagh Palace Hotel, Jaipur.
In his new role, Chef Mohit will operate and lead the kitchen team along with Executive Chef. He will oversee the operations of Taj Rambagh Palace’s renowned food and beverage outlets such as Suvarna Mahal, Rajput Room, Polo Bar and Steam.
Chef Mohit was born and raised in the capital Delhi, he is the first person in his entire family to choose the profession of hospitality and specialized as a chef. He completed his schooling from The Frank Anthony Public School New Delhi and joined Institute of Hotel Management Bangalore. He passed with flying colours as a college topper during his studies.
Chef Mohit Tak joined Indian Hotels Company Limited i.e. Taj Group as a Management Trainee. He developed and sharpened his culinary skills at various Taj hotels. He spent his career working in the kitchen of Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi, and climbed the ladder to become the hotel and the city’s youngest sous chef.
Chef Mohit’s international experience is vital to brand Taj, as he has been involved in the company’s culinary experiences for over a decade. Recently he visited London as the inaugural chef of premier food and beverage outlets such as TH@51 and Taj The Chambers at Taj St. James’s Court and 51 Buckingham Gate, United Kingdom.
Chef Mohit Tak got the opportunity to work and mature his culinary skills at the three Michelin star World’s Best Restaurant NOMA in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2019. He trained with one of the most influential chefs, René Redzepi and his team.
Chef Mohit says that Taj Rambagh Hotel is a world-famous hotel and I, along with my seniors and colleagues, will present a wonderful experience to the guests.
