Governor of Maharashtra Performs Puja at Raj Bhavan Devi Mandir

In a unique gesture, Governor of Maharashtra Ramesh Bais performed puja at the Sri Gundi Devi Mandir in the Mumbai’s Raj Bhavan premises on 23 July, 2024.  After the puja ceremony, the Governor offered prasad to deities on the occasion of the annual jatra (fair) at the Sri Gundi Devi Mandir.

During the puja, the Governor garlanded the murti of Goddess Sri Gundi and had the darshan of Mahalaxmi, Mahadeo, Lord Rama and Hanuman deities in the temple premises.

The annual Jatra of the Sri Gundi temple in Raj Bhavan is held on Tuesday immediately following the Guru Purnima Day.

Devotees, officers and employees of Raj Bhavan participated in the puja ceremony.
