The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has officially unveiled its new influencer marketing platform, TAT Connex. This initiative is a key element of TAT’s innovative strategy to enhance digital transformation in tourism promotion and development.
Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, remarked, “TAT has created TAT Connex to support Thai tourism businesses in enhancing their brand visibility, inspiring more travel, and stimulating higher tourism spending across the country. This initiative underscores our commitment to embracing digital transformation to elevate the Thai tourism industry to new heights.”
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched its influencer marketing platform, TAT Connex. Available through its app (on Android and iOS) and website www.tatconnex.com, the platform was activated earlier this month, allowing businesses and influencers to register in advance. TAT Connex aims to boost brand visibility, inspire travel, and enhance tourism spending across Thailand.
The platform welcomes all categories of local and international Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influencers, bloggers, media and celebrities to connect with 10 types of tourism-related businesses; these being: restaurants and diners, hotel accommodation and homestays, transportation, recreational activities and tourist attractions, travel agencies, health and beauty, department stores and shopping centres, activity/meeting and theatre/entertainment, and souvenir and other shops.
Users of TAT Connex will have the tools to forge business partnerships and utilize the platform for real-time campaign tracking and data analysis across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter). For example, a business may collaborate with influencers in specific markets to enhance brand exposure and engage with potential customers more effectively.
