The Indian Film Festival will commence on 6th January 2025, running through to 10th January 2025, showcasing a curated lineup of Indian films in various cities across Sri Lanka. The festival will open on Monday, 6th January 2025, at 6:30 PM with the screening of the Bollywood blockbuster ’83 at PVR Cinema, Colombo.
Organized by the High Commission of India in Colombo, in collaboration with its branches in Kandy, Hambantota, and Jaffna, as well as the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Colombo, this festival promises to highlight India’s cinematic diversity with an exciting mix of drama, romance, action, and historical epics. These films offer a unique glimpse into the colourful and diverse world of Indian cinema.
