With its elegant ambiance, relaxed atmosphere, and impeccable service, K&K provides an exceptional dining experience, offering authentic Indian cuisine in a refined and sophisticated setting. As served in the noble courts and in yesteryears, the fare at K & K is the coming together of ancient culinary secrets, long forgotten herbs and exotic flavours to pamper the palate. Whether you’re a lover of fine Indian cuisine or someone eager to explore the wonders of Awadhi flavours, K&K offers an exceptional dining experience that’s sure to leave you craving for more.

K&K Known for Culinary Excellence

K&K, renowned for its heritage cuisine, is a testament to the mastery of ITC Hotels’ celebrated chefs. Here, with Chef Shareef ensuring the authenticity of each dish. It beautifully blends traditional and evolving cooking techniques. Serving dishes inspired by the royal kitchens and Nawabi heritage. K&K’s melt-in-the-mouth kebabs cooked in clay ovens, iron tandoors, charcoal grills, and stone ‘Pathar’ grills, as well as rustic ‘angeethis’ and ‘tawas.’ Flavourful curries are simmered in sealed ‘deghs,’ copper ‘handis,’ and cauldrons, creating rich gravies like ‘Qorma,’ ‘Qaliya,’ ‘Salan,’ and ‘Dopiaza.’ Each dish is more than just a recipe – it’s a story of tradition and history, bursting with deep flavors.

Separate preparation for Vegetarian

A delectable spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian kebabs and curries (separate tandoors and vessels are used to make vegetarian preparations) are encompassed in a generous menu. Each dish cooked in the kitchens, attempts to capture the essence of the original recipe. For Example: ‘Dopiaza’ describes the process in which lamb, fish, chicken or vegetables are cooked in whole spices, slices of onions are sautéed in a cooking medium, until the moisture evaporates. A Dopiaza is, thus, a dish with thick aromatic gravy.

More Than Just a Meal

Dining at Kebabs & Kurries is not just about food; it’s an immersive experience that celebrates India’s diverse culinary traditions. Every dish tells a story, from the heritage of Lucknow and Awadh to the meticulous care that goes into crafting each meal. With Chef Shareef’s exclusive menu, Kebabs & Kurries at ITC Grand Central becomes more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where the past and present meet in the form of culinary masterpieces.

Kunal Pahwa, General Manager of ITC Grand Central, shares, “ITC Hotels are renowned for bringing the rich culinary heritage of various regions to the forefront. At ITC Grand Central, K&K stands as a beacon of authenticity, serving traditional delicacies that have made a lasting impression in Mumbai. The restaurant is not only favored by Indian patrons but also by expatriates, making it a popular dining destination. K&K has truly become synonymous with exceptional fine dining, continually maintaining its uniqueness and setting new standards.”

He further adds, “Located in a prominent area with a large vegetarian clientele, we take extra care to ensure that all vegetarian preparations are cooked in separate vessels. Our guests appreciate this thoughtful approach, and the transparency of our see-through kitchen allows them to witness their favourite vegetarian dishes being prepared with utmost care and authenticity.”
