The Balwa Group, a prominent name in the Indian hospitality sector, has signed an agreement with Marriott International to introduce the globally celebrated Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts to Mumbai—a vibrant metropolis where tradition and modernity seamlessly converge.
Strategically located just two kilometers from Mumbai International Airport, Le Méridien Mumbai International Airport is scheduled to open in January 2029. The hotel promises to invite travelers to “savor the moment” and immerse themselves in the city’s rich tapestry of creativity, culture, and culinary delights—aligned with the brand’s timeless take on modern travel.
The upcoming hotel is expected to feature 161 contemporary guest rooms and suites, designed to inspire exploration and offer enriching experiences. Guests will enjoy thoughtfully curated dining options, including a specialty restaurant, a patisserie, and Le Méridien Hub—a signature reimagining of the traditional hotel lobby that transforms throughout the day. From handcrafted barista coffee by day to signature cocktails by night at the Latitude/Longitude Bar, the space will foster connection and creativity.
