Luxury hospitality brand Lebua Hotels & Resorts is gearing up to make a grand return to the Indian market, with plans to establish new properties across several key states. According to industry insiders, negotiations are currently in advanced stages at multiple destinations including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh.

Insiders familiar with the matter reveal that a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is expected to be signed soon, paving the way for Lebua’s re-entry into India’s premium hospitality segment. The agreement will mark a significant milestone in the brand’s comeback strategy, signaling its long-term commitment to investing in India’s growing luxury tourism market. Once signed, the MoU will initiate the groundwork for property development, operational planning, and brand positioning in select high-potential destinations across the country.

Rajan Khurana, General Manager of Lebua Hotel Bangkok, confirmed the brand’s plans of expansion, stating, “We have identified many places. We will update you as soon as deals are finalised.” While the company has yet to officially announce the specific locations, the shortlist signals a strong intent to tap into India’s booming luxury travel segment.

Lebua, renowned for its opulent hospitality and its iconic sky bar in Bangkok, had earlier established a presence in India with luxury properties in Jaipur, Lucknow, Udaipur, and Corbett Park. The brand also operated dedicated sales offices across major cities including Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, reinforcing its footprint in the Indian market. Now, Lebua is gearing up for a robust comeback, with its renewed focus on India viewed as a strategic move to tap into the country’s rapidly growing demand for high-end travel experiences and its vibrant, culturally rich tourism landscape.

Although the official launch timeline is yet to be disclosed, discussions at several locations have reached an advanced stage. More information about the rollout plans and property designs is likely to be revealed once the agreements are formally concluded.
