Reward programs encourage longer visits, repeat travellers

Taiwan has introduced two new reward campaigns to attract international visitors and transit passengers, offering business-class tickets, luxury stays, gift card prizes, and NT$600 airport vouchers. These initiatives highlight Taiwan’s hospitality while encouraging travellers to return, stay longer, and explore more of the island.

The Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) has launched ‘Taiwan the Lucky Land – Thank You Season’, a follow-up to the successful 2023 campaign that engaged over 6.5 million travellers. Eligible participants who have previously visited Taiwan can register on the campaign website before their next trip to win business-class airline tickets, luxury hotel packages, and NT$5,000 gift card vouchers. The promotion runs until 30 January 2026, with monthly draws and automatic rollover for non-winning entries.

The second initiative, ‘Enter Taiwan, Enjoy a Gift!’, targets non-Taiwanese transit passengers staying up to 24 hours at Taoyuan International Airport. Passengers can register online and claim NT$600 vouchers at TTA Visitor Service Centres in Terminals 1 and 2 by presenting their passport and onward boarding pass. Vouchers are valid at airport restaurants, duty-free shops, souvenir stores, and other retail outlets. This campaign, running through 31 October 2026, also aims to convert transit passengers into future tourists, supported by new international flights from carriers including Emirates and Etihad.

Together, the campaigns aim to boost tourist arrivals and spending, enhance Taiwan’s international visibility, and reinforce its image as a welcoming, convenient, and enjoyable travel destination. Travellers are encouraged to register online to take advantage of these rewards and explore Taiwan’s rich culture and attractions.
