The LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur has appointed seasoned hospitality professional Arjun Belliappa as its new General Manager, marking a strategic addition to the iconic heritage property’s leadership team. With more than two decades of experience across luxury hotels, large-scale operations, and purpose-driven initiatives, Belliappa brings a proven track record in guest experience enhancement, operational excellence, and business growth.
Belliappa’s hospitality journey began as a Hotel Operational Management Trainee with JW Marriott, Juhu, where he laid the foundation of his operational expertise. He later moved to The Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai, before joining The Oberoi Group for a transformative seven-year tenure. During this period, he contributed to key functions across The Oberoi Mumbai, Trident Nariman Point, and Trident Gurgaon, eventually ascending to the role of Assistant Front Office Manager.
Over the years, he has held significant leadership positions at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, Radisson Blu Atria Bengaluru, Mantri Square Mall, Lemon Tree Premier, Sunbird Trust, and Betta Living Resorts. His exposure to diverse environments—ranging from luxury hospitality to high-volume commercial spaces and socially driven projects—has shaped a versatile and well-rounded leadership style.
Before joining The LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur, Belliappa served as General Manager at Hotel Lakend, Udaipur. His tenure there was marked by strengthened service benchmarks and improved market performance, supported by his deep understanding of the region’s tourism dynamics.
