Mumbai’s prestigious luxury hotel, The St. Regis Mumbai, has announced the appointment of seasoned hospitality professional Shri Raj Goswami as the Director of Food & Beverage for Penthouse Mumbai. In his new role, he will guide the F&B strategy of the exclusive luxury space, shaping its culinary identity and elevating guest experiences.
Shri Raj brings a refined blend of operational insight, global exposure, and polished leadership—qualities that position him strongly to enhance Penthouse Mumbai’s stature as one of the city’s most distinctive luxury destinations.
Shri Raj’s educational foundation reflects a strong commitment to hospitality and beverage excellence. He began his academic journey at Kendriya Vidyalaya, followed by a Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management from IHM Jaipur, graduating with first-class distinction. His growing interest in wines and spirits led him to pursue specialised certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. He further enhanced his wine expertise through the Rioja Wine Academy in Spain, a professional programme focused on Rioja wines, wine tasting, and service, designed for sommeliers and hospitality professionals. Further strengthening his credentials, he completed multiple certifications from the Court of Master Sommeliers, including the introductory sommelier programme, building a refined understanding of global wine culture and service excellence.
Prior to joining The St. Regis Mumbai, Shri Raj served as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, where he led signature dining venues, managed large-scale banqueting operations, and curated premium guest experiences. He also held key roles as Director of Restaurants, Bars & Banquets, highlighting his versatility across multiple F&B formats. His international experience includes impactful assignments with Four Seasons Hotels in the Maldives and Bahrain, complemented by early career experience at The Oberoi Hotels in Agra.

Outside work, Shri Raj enjoys reading and watching or playing cricket, a balance that reflects his grounded personality despite his high-intensity professional journey. With his global outlook, operational clarity, and passion for contemporary luxury dining, he is poised to lead the next chapter of Penthouse Mumbai’s culinary evolution at The St. Regis Mumbai, bringing renewed energy and refined vision to the city’s luxury dining landscape.
