Embark on a Culinary Journey at Sofitel Mumbai’s Exclusive Malaysian Food Festival

Sofitel Mumbai BKC invites you to indulge in the vibrant flavors of Malaysia at the exclusive Malaysian Food Festival at Pondichéry Café, running from November 15th to 24th.

This exclusive festival showcases the culinary expertise of Chef Aping and Chef Irwan from Sofitel Kuala Lumpur, who will bring authentic Malaysian cuisine to Mumbai. Guests will have the opportunity to savor the rich, diverse, and aromatic flavors of Malaysia, expertly crafted by these two renowned chefs.

The festival offers a diverse selection of Malaysian dishes, bursting with unique textures, spices, and flavors. Highlights include the coconut-based Laksa, Mee Goreng Mamak, and fragrant Rendang Curry, along with Apam Balik (sweet-savory pancake), Ayam Percik (grilled chicken), Roti John (stuffed bread), and flaky Murtabak. The meal is complemented by Rojak Dalat, a refreshing salad with a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy notes.

Alongside the Malaysian dishes, guests can enjoy a selection of cocktails featuring Japanese spirits. Signature drinks include the Toki Highball with Suntory Whiskey and grapefruit, the Roku Natsu Gin Hai with gin, coconut water, and elderflower syrup, and the Haku Yugen Highball with vodka and yuzu. Each cocktail is designed to perfectly complement the bold flavors of Malaysian cuisine, enhancing the dining experience.
