Bollywood’s legendary film actor, Padma Shri Manoj Kumar has been felicitated by World Book of Records, London. The WBR is given to Manoj Kumar for his unparalleled contribution to Indian cinema through highlighting patriotic, social, cultural feelings in Hindi cinema.
The WBR certificate of Honour was presented to Padmashri Manoj Kumar, by Santosh Shukla, Supreme Court, Advocate (President World Book of Records), Usman Khan (Vice President, World Book of Records, India) and Prof. (Dr) Rajeev Sharma (Educationist). Shashi Goswami, wife of Manoj Kumar and his son Kunal Goswami were also present while felicitating him.
It may be noted that, earlier, Padma Vibhushan Dilip Kumar (Legendary Thespian actor) was also felicitated with such an honour.
Scientifically, Manoj Kumar being an Indian actor, who is among the most honoured and popular stars in Bollywood. He is known for acting and directing numerous popular and super hit films in his career. Manoj Kumar have been given the nickname on screen as “Bharat Kumar”. In 1992, he was conferred with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India. Besides, he was also conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award, highest award in Indian cinema was also bestowed upon him in 2015.
