Shivdham Complex celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with simplicity

Shivdham complex at Dindoshi celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi every year with Big Bang in their spacious ground. This year due to Global pandemic Shivdham Ganeshotsav Mandal chosen to celebrate Ganeshotsav in small scale. Instead of erecting big Sahamiana at ground they have installed Ganesh Idol at Ganesh Temple which is located within the complex.

As per the restrictions implemented by the state government all precautionary measures are followed for the safety and security of devotees. Social distancing and face mask is mandatory while entering the temple. Even while decorating the Shamiana all the committee members and volunteers were wearing face mask and were maintaining proper social distancing. Shivdham Ganeshotsav Mandal’s committee members Ravindra Bobhate, Jitendra Paradkar,

Kundan Goswami and other committee members including several volunteers were present during the Ganeshji’s arrival.

Ravindra Bobhate, Jitendra Paradkar and Kundan Goswami said “By the blessing of Ganpati Bappa we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi every year which was established in 1993. We organize various programs every year but this year we are celebrating it in very simple way and following all the directives issued by the state government.  We are praying to Bappa to take away this pandemic permanently so the entire world can live in peace and harmony”.

It maybe noted that Shivdham complex is a cluster of 19 buildings of MHADA which was established in 1993. The residents of complex are Peace loving people and organize all leading festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Navratri. The complex is prominently located opposite Oberoi Mall.
