Padma Shri Awardee Celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor launched DIY (Do-it yourself) KitFresh Meal Kits. under his newly founded venture, KSK Food. The ready to cook KitFresh Meal Kits consist of the finest ingredients put together by renowned Chef Sanjeev Kapoor to help customers recreate some of his most iconic recipes from the comfort and safety of their home.  Even non-cooks can spin up delicious gourmet dishes in 30-45 minutes. There is a variety of scrumptious vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes such as Dum Biryani, Burmese Khow Suey, Red Thai Curry with Rice, and Chettinad Curry with Whole-wheat Parotas.

Each meal kit consists of fresh ingredients in predetermined quantities that are hygienically packed in a certified state-of-art facility. The pack also contains a 1-page recipe guide that has been carefully designed with simple and specific instructions. Alternatively, users of Amazon Echo, Fire TV and Alexa built-in devices can ask Alexa for audio cook-along recipes, powered by Klovechef, by simply saying, for instance: “Alexa, I want to cook KitFresh Veg Dum Biryani”.

KitFresh meal kits adhere to the highest standards of safety to ensure our customers remain safe while having a delightful cooking experience at home.  It promises a hassle-free and enjoyable cooking experience. Customers can enjoy cooking by avoiding tedious processes, such as cutting vegetables and searching for different ingredients, and lets customers enjoy the satisfying and rewarding parts of the cook. All the required ingredients are provided in the right portions in the meal kit, eliminating the requirement to search for different ingredients or for dealing with excess quantities or wastage.

At present the kits are only available in Bengaluru and will soon expand to other cities.

About Chef Sanjeev Kapoor: 

Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is winner of one of the highest civilian awards “Padma Shri” conferred by the President of India, besides winning several culinary awards. He worked as official Chief Chef to former Prime Minister of India, late Rajiv Gandhi at his official residence.  He is the most celebrated face of Indian cuisine, an entrepreneur, restaurateur, and a television personality. He hosted Khana Khazana cookery show on Indian television for more than 17 years. Chef Kapoor is a host, an author of 150 plus bestselling cookbooks and has also launched his own Food Food channel.

Chef Kapoor born in Ambala, began his culinary journey in 1984 with a Diploma in Hotel Management from prestigious IHM Pusa, New Delhi. He comes from the family of bankers, his father Surinder Kumar Kapoor was director with State Bank of India and his brother is a leading CA in Delhi.

Chef Kapoor, beginning his career with ITDC Ashok Hotel, later on he headed ITDC’s Indian restaurant in New Zealand. He is the first Chef in India to become the youngest Executive Chef at the age of 25 in Centaur Hotel Juhu Beach, a 5 Star luxury hotel in Mumbai. He is the recipient of Mercury Gold Award at Geneva, by Indian Federation of Culinary Associations and has also won the Best Executive Chef of India Award by H & FS. He is a Brand Ambassador of Singapore Airlines along with other top 5 Chefs of the members of its International Culinary Panel.
