Bollywood actress Dia Mirza’s wedding with entrepreneur Vaibhav Rekhi was nothing less than a fairy-tale. After a brief courtship, the couple walked down the aisle on February 15, 2021, in a low-profile ceremony in Mumbai. They exchanged vows in the presence of only a few close family members and friends.
Recently, Mirza took to her social media handle and shared the news of her wedding with a series of breathtakingly beautiful photos. In no time, wishes started to pour in from all quarters. And now, India’s global star Priyanka Chopra has also sent her best wishes to the newlywed couple.
Taking to the comment section of Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi’s photos, Chopra wrote, “So Happy for you D! Congratulations.” Dia replied to her comment and wrote, “Thank you,” with a hug and heart emoticon.
Apart from Priyanka Chopra, several other Bollywood stars such as Bipasha Basu, Taapsee Pannu, Malaika Arora, Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh also sent love to the actress on her wedding with Vaibhav Rekhi.
One of the photos that the actress shared on social media featured Sheela Atta, the priestess who conducted her wedding ceremony. Giving a massive shout out to the woman priest, the actress packed a must-read message and wrote, “Thank you, Sheela Atta, for conducting our wedding ceremony. So proud that together we can rise up.”
Dia Mirza was last seen in acclaimed filmmaker Anubhav Sinha’s much-loved film Thappad (2020). Though she had a brief role in the movie, she did a fabulous job and received positive response for her performance. Apart from receiving great critical acclaim, Thappad also performed well at the box-office.
