The much-awaited mystery thriller Chehre, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in principal characters, has locked a new date for its theatrical release.

After being postponed several times, the film will now hit theatres on 30th April 2021, almost a year after it was originally slated to release. Chehre was supposed to release in July 2020 but was delayed due to the Coronavirus-induced lockdown that forced cinema halls to shut their doors for the public.

Chehre will be the first film of Senior Bachchan to release in 2021. The film is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited and directed by Rumy Jafry.

In addition to Amitabh Bachchan, Chehre also stars Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Drithiman Chakroborthy, Rhea Chakraborty, Raghubir Yadav, and Siddhanth Kapoor in important roles.

Apart from announcing the new release date of the film, the makers also unveiled its brand-new poster. The poster features every important cast member from the film on it except Rhea Chakraborty.

Chehre releases in cinemas on April 30, 2021.
