A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area of Ambernath on Thursday.
The incident took place around 5:45 am at RK Company in Ambernath’s Anand Nagar area.
According to the preliminary information, eight fire engines of Ambernath and Badlapur fire stations have been rushed to the spot and efforts are being made to douse the fire.
So far, no person was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is not known yet.

In another incident, a major fire broke out at a dumping ground in Ulhasnagar on Wednesday. Earlier this week, another fire broke out at Krishna Promotion Company near Padgha village in Thane’s Asangaon area.
