The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation warned citizens of a water cut on Tuesday evening due to pre-monsoon maintenance and repair work.
The civic body further urged citizens of Navi Mumbai to use water responsibly.
In a release, NMMC stated that pre-monsoon maintenance and repair work will be conducted at Morbe Dam to Digha Main Aqueduct on Tuesday (May 25).
The water supply at the Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant will be cut off.
The release further suggests that areas in Belapur, Nerul, Turbhe, Vashi, Kopar Khairane, Ghansoli among other areas of Navi Mumbai will be affected.
Meanwhile, the direct water connection to Kamothe and Kharghar in the CIDCO area will also be cut off during this period. However, a low-pressure water supply will be available on Wednesday (May 26).
The civic body urged the citizens of Navi Mumbai to use water responsibly during this period and cooperate with NMMC.
