Saurabh Dube, a seasoned sales and marketing professional has joined as the new General Manager of Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden. His most recent role was with The St. Regis Mumbai where he was heading both hotel operations and Sales & Marketing while assisting the General Manager in overall hotel management.
In his new role, Dube will take the charge for leading the overall hotel operations, human resources management, directing sales and marketing teams, ensuring sustained recovery and growth for the hotel. He will be aligning his efforts to strengthen the hotel positioning as the city’s iconic premium hospitality brand with diverse offerings.
Saurabh began his career with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts as Executive trainee in 2000. He swiftly moved up the ranks across working with myriad luxurious brands over the years. Dube is a demonstrated leader, driven by passion and a deep sense of originality. He has worked with some of the world-class luxury brands in his previous assignment that includes The St. Regis Mumbai, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, Sofitel Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Mumbai and Renaissance Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre to the list.
Under his leadership, The St. Regis Mumbai achieved the honour of being the highest revenue generating hotel within Marriott portfolio in India in 2019 and consolidated its reputation of being the leading luxury address. He has been a key mentor and led many core assignments, amalgamated with his consistent leadership skills. His track record shows an innate ability to drive excellence across associate engagement, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Dube was conferred with ‘Sales Leader of the Year’ award for 2019 by ‘Hotelier India’ and repeated this feat with ‘Sales & Marketing Leader’ for 2020 by ‘BW Hotelier’ Indian Hospitality Awards.
With a diploma in Hospitality from IHM Calcutta, Dube is an avid reader and enjoys various genres from literature, history to fiction. He is also a speed enthusiast and loves to explore long roads on his sports bike with his group of friends. He is also passionate about fitness and follows an active schedule to keep both his mind and body energised.
