Suman R Agarwal, well-known Women’s Rights Activist and Rotarian said “Transporting vaccines in a conventional way would be lesser quantum due to connectivity issues and facilities to store, but via this Drone, about 150 to 200 vials will be easily transported in a day to 11 villages assigned to us. This is the first project carried out successfully in the state of Maharashtra. Further, the drone will be used for other emergency services for transporting blood, emergency medicines, and organs. This project was a huge success”.

She further added “This facility is provided by Marwari community who came forward generously to help in the noble cause of society, who was deprived of basic medical assistance. Instead of donating individually and supporting people, donations were given to the Rotary club, who in turn came up with the idea of launching drone services which would help a larger number of people in a short span of time”.
