Several areas in Mumbai to face water supply disruptions from May 24

Several areas in South Mumbai and eastern suburbs will face water supply disruptions from 11 am to 3 pm on Tuesday, May 24. These areas will face water cuts for the next four days, till May 27.

Releasing a statement on the issue, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had earlier said that parts of South Mumbai and eastern suburbs will face water cuts from May 24 to May 27.

The civic body further said that there will be a five per cent water cut in these areas and urged the citizens to keep the required stock of water on the day prior to the water cut in the mentioned duration.

AREAS TO BE AFFECTED

Parts of South Mumbai, including Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Bhendi Bazaar, Nariman Point, Churchgate Fort, and Crawford Market will be affected.

Moreover, parts of the eastern suburbs including Kurla, Tilak Nagar, Govandi, Mankhurd, and Chembur will be affected.
