Candidate Amarjot Sandhu

Amarjot Sandhu was born in Punjab, India. He came to Canada as an international student in 2008. He started out in Canada as a Computer Engineer and Network Analyst and later he went onto to explore as a Realtor. But right from the start he always had an interest and passion for politics through which he wanted to work for the betterment of the society. Even his family was involved in politics in India.

Amarjot Sandhu is the Member of the Provincial Parliament for the riding of Brampton West and the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Infrastructure. He is also the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs and a member of the Standing Committee on General Government.
He is the first ever international student to be elected as a representative to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
Amarjot has been working tirelessly to create great infrastructure, safety measures, health care for the community of Brampton West and it can be seen that he’s someone who puts their heart in whatever he’s set out to do for his community irrespective of what race or ethnicity you belong to! He’s doing some amazing work for the betterment of Brampton West and taking a stand for the community there by standing up for the needs of the community.

His few achievements till now for the community:
* Building a new police station.
* Building of Ryerson Medical School to have trained doctors and nurses within Brampton.
* Building a 2nd hospital for better 24/7medical emergency services.
* Building 3 brand new long term care homes.
* Building highway 413 to reduce traffic
* Building the new Hurontario LRT to promote business in Brampton.
* The Govt. has eliminated the License plate sticker renewal fee to keep more money in the pockets of Bramptonians.
If the people of Brampton West really want someone to speak up for them in terms of their safety, health care investments, more quality work opportunities and better infrastructure then they should #VOTEPC to #GETITDONE On 2nd June 2022.
