101 days of war. Ukraine a very small country with such a strong might and will still standing and fighting for its people. Zelensky the President of Ukraine could have fled the country easily but chose not to and support his country in this war against Russia. Zelensky before taking up the role of the president of Ukraine was a comedian and actor by profession and a really good one infact. People usually can’t imagine someone from that stream / career could turn into a President of a country facing injustice and war and someone who would actually support their country. Zelensky is one of those rare people. Even though after 101 days of war when Russia has taken over 20 percent of Ukraine is still standing there looking in the face of war, fighting it and asking for help also humbly. He’s a true example of what a leader of a nation should be like! A true inspiration for Ukrainians. The Ukrainian government estimated last week that the Russians have lost more than 30,000 soldiers since beginning their invasion on February 24. Between 60 and 100 Ukrainian soldiers are dying on the battlefield every day, and another 500 wounded, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky told US newsgroup Newsmax in an interview.
3 months, 1 week and 5 days of Russian invasion of Ukraine
On the other side of the war we have Russian President Vladimir Putin was treated for cancer in April and survived an assassination attempt in March, according to a US intelligence report. Three US intelligence readers who read the classified report spoke to Newsweek about it, confirming that there was an attempt on Putin’s life shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine.Ex-Soviet and now Israeli journalist Mark Kotlyarsky claimed the cancer diagnosis was confirmed to him by both Kremlin and medical informers in Moscow.
Putin was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer – a malignant aggressive tumour, which is characterised by uncontrolled growth of glandular and epithelial tissues in the excretory ducts of the organ.
An officer with the FSB (Russian Federal Security Service) has claimed in the report that Putin, who will turn 70 this October, is also losing his eyesight. He doesn’t have a long time to live so is there any point in attacking and invading Ukraine?
The war has been accompanied by violations of human rights. From 2014 to 2021, there were more than 3,000 civilian casualties.
Russian losses to date are high. NATO estimates that Russia has lost between 7,000 and 15,000 soldiers. Wounded who cannot rapidly return to duty generally number about twice the number of dead. That would mean that Russia has lost between 21,000 and 45,000 troops in four weeks of conflict.
