It’s Third Term; Xi Jinping unanimously elected Chinese president, PRC CMC chairman

Once again Xi Jinping is unanimously elected president of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the PRC at the third plenary meeting of the first session of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, capital of China, March 10, 2023. This is his third term.  The appointment news was quoted by Xinhua News Agency of China.

Xi, who will turn 70 on June 15, was re-elected by the once-in-a-five-year Congress of the ruling Communist Party of China as its leader in October last year, becoming the first Chinese leader after Mao Zedong to continue in power beyond two five-year terms.
