Indulge in a gastronomic journey to rediscover India’s diverse culinary

JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu presents an exquisite dining experience with Lost Recipes of India – a specially crafted menu at Saffron, the Indian specialty restaurant. The ongoing festival will be on till 23rd April, 2023.

The menu features an array of bygone favorites, carefully curated by the talented culinary experts who have revived exceptional native recipes that have been forgotten over time. With a unique style of innovation and presentation blended to perfection, guests can expect a distinct and immersive dining experience that gives them a taste of India’s rich culinary heritage.

A celebration of rich indigenous produce and responsibly sourced ingredients, Saffron is discerning in its selective connections to the community. Guests can indulge in small plates like Singhade Ki Kachri, a chaat avatar of local water chestnut from the foothills of the Himalayas, or Boote Ke Samose, a Nizami – era samosa with a unique stuffing. Other dishes include Pathiya Sekiya Kukkad, Khusk Mahi Kebab, Tootak, Nizami Burgul Ke Kebab and Silbatte Kachche Gosht Ke Kabab amongst others.

The large plates section offers a range of exquisite dishes like Shalgam Mutton Curry, a spicy goat curry with white turnips from the Kashmir Valley, or Murgh Zamin Doz, a claypot cooked chicken dish with rich earthy flavours. Vegetarian options like Bhatt Ki Daal,  a local Pahadi dal, or Paneer Aloo Bukhara Kofta, a cottage cheese stuffed with dried plums in silky gravy from the royal kitchens of Maharaja Patiala, are also a must try. Satisfy your sweet tooth with Gudamba, a rare combination of raw mango and semolina.

So, experience the nostalgia of the lost recipes of India as you revel in the rich, diverse platters of Indian cuisine with the specially crafted limited-edition menu.
