Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presented the 22nd ‘Devarshi Narad Patrakarita Puraskars’ for the year 2023 to journalists and media personalities from Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on 3rd May, 2023.
Ten media personalities from the print, electronic, digital and social media were given the awards. Those who were awarded includes Senior journalist from Ratnagiri Pramod Konkar, political satirist from daily Sakal Pravin Tokekar, news anchor Deepak Palsule, Times of India’s Vaibhav Purandare, Nilesh Khare, Jayanti Waghdhare, Anay Joglekar, Anshul Pandey and social media journalists Ninad Patil and Hrishikesh Magar were felicitated on the occasion.
Chairman of Vishwa Samvad Kendra Mumbai Sudhir Joglekar, Trustee Nishith Bhandarkar, Consul General of Israel in Mumbai Kobbi Shoshani and media personalities were present.
Chairman of Vishwa Samvad Kendra Mumbai Sudhir Joglekar said “Vishwa Samvad Kendra has entered in its 25th year. As of now we have felicitated and awarded 74 journalists so far and will keep on doing it in future too”. Trustee Nishith Bhandarkar introduced the event proceedings whereas Anay Joglekar and Praveen Tokekar responded to the felicitation on behalf of the awardees.
