Nibu Mathew joins as Director of F&B at Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences

A seasoned leader in the food and beverage arena, Nibu Mathew has joined Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences as

Director of Food and Beverage. Prior to joining Grand Hyatt Mumbai, he was served as Director of Food and Beverage at The Park Hyatt, Hyderabad.

Nibu began his career at the Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra post which he joined Le Meriden Jaipur. Nibu’s journey across the industry has offered him great exposure and the opportunity to work with esteemed brands such as The Oberoi, Marriott, and IHG Group.

During his career, Nibu has been a part of teams that have pre-opened new food and beverage outlets as well as enhanced their reputation. Nibu’s last stints have seen him deliver excellence at the Park Hyatt Hyderabad and St. Regis Mumbai in the role of Director of Food and Beverage.

On joining, Nibu states, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

With more than one and half decades of experience in hospitality, Nibu is committed to his role and is looking at implementing a conceptual and innovative style of thinking to the current food and beverage segment at the hotel to orchestrate and deliver success.

Apart from work, Nibu pursues his enthusiasm for fitness, especially cycling. Not just fitness, but Nibu knows his way behind the stove as well, living his passion for cooking through experimenting with new recipes.
