The creative genius behind ViVi Italian Bar & Kitchen is designer Ankita Sharma. She draws her inspiration from Amalfi and Sicilian coasts to infuse the interiors with elegance and warmth. Every corner of the restaurant is adorned with intricate decor elements, including old typewriters, and gramophones, adding a touch of nostalgia and charm.

While talking about her experience Ankita says, “This has been the most fun project to work with. The basic concept for the design is keeping in mind the amalgamation between the rustic elements of Italy and the gen Zs expectations. We have a colourful, vibrant bar and kitchen. Adding an element of fun to make it a casual atmosphere for incoming customers.”

Niketa Sharma, CEO of The Thane Club said “We at ViVi serve delicious Italian dishes with great Artisanal cocktails. We are known for serving authentic double zero flour wood fired pizzas, handmade pastas and globally popular tiramisu and other popular dishes. We want to give a slice of Sicilian and Amalfi coast in our dishes whether the Neapolitan or thin crust varieties of pizzas. Even our garlic breads and dough balls are hand stretched with a variety of toppings”.
Niketa adds “The Indian palette is accustomed to spicy tangy flavours in almost all cuisines. Being in Mumbai and growing up eating vada pav, we need Indianized flavours added to our dishes, which I feel is great. If we can keep the quality and authenticity of the dishes but add our tinge of flavours and taste, it helps us experiment and expand our horizons in those cuisines and keeps everyone happy”.
Head Chef Yash, has curated a wide-ranging and elaborate menu after doing extensive research. He has taken into account Global trends, to use every ingredient to satisfy their customer’s taste buds. Aa a chef, he is at his creative best for not only conceptualizing a single dish or an entire menu, but also executing it to the perfection. His cuisine focuses on lightness and depth of flavour and sourcing of the ingredients is a key. His goal as chefs is to make guests happy and provide them with a fun and fulfilling experience. His challenge each day is to make sure that guests leave with a smile.
