Indian Hotel Company Limited (IHCL) announced the elevation of Dr. Anmol Ahluwalia from Cluster General Manager – North Goa to the esteemed position of Area Director – Operations at IHCL. Anmol joined the Taj family in September 2005 at Vivanta by Taj – Fort Aguada, Goa, as an Executive Housekeeper. With an illustrious tenure spanning 18 years at IHCL, Anmol has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Anmol embarked on his journey with IHCL as the Executive Housekeeper at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa, and has since then climbed the ranks, showcasing his strategic acumen. His leadership roles include serving as the Executive Housekeeper at Vivanta Bengaluru, Whitefield, and Taj Chandigarh. He also played a pivotal role as the Accommodation Manager at Vivanta Panaji, Goa, and Taj Lands’ End, Mumbai, before being appointed as the Executive Assistant Manager at Taj Bengal.
Taking on the challenge of his first general management role at Taj Wellington Mews, Mumbai, Anmol excelled in elevating service standards. His subsequent role as General Manager – North Goa saw him successfully lead Taj hotels in the region, contributing to their continued success.
In his new role as Area Director – Operations, Anmol will oversee the operations of Taj hotels in Goa on an interim basis. He will report to the Executive Vice President – Operations, South India, International & Expressions.
Anmol is a passionate hotelier and over the years, worked tirelessly to personalize many experiences for our guests. His affable personality enables him to connect well with all our stakeholders.
