Mahapex 2025: Collect, Connect, Celebrate – The Festival of Stamps

The Maharashtra state-level philatelic exhibition, Mahapex 2025, is set to take place from January 22nd to 25th, 2025, at the World Trade Centre, Mumbai. This much-awaited event will be a grand celebration of philately, offering a rich showcase of the cultural heritage of both Maharashtra and Goa.

 Launch of the Mahapex 2025 Logo: The Mahapex 2025 logo was unveiled at the closing ceremony of Gamepex Thane 2024, by Mr. Amitabh Singh, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle. The logo’s design draws inspiration from the Rajmudra of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and integrates Warli painting alongside the architectural heritage of Maharashtra and Goa. Shekaru, the state animal of Maharashtra, has been adopted as the mascot for this prestigious event.

 500-Frame Exhibition and Diverse Exhibits: Mahapex 2025 will feature a 500-frame exhibition, showcasing an impressive collection of philatelic exhibits that reflect both historical and cultural significance. The prospectus for the exhibition has been released, outlining various classes of exhibits, eligibility for participation, and the timeline for submissions.

   A Postcard Design Competition with the topic “India in 2047”. Additionally, the bulletin includes information on a special cover featuring special cancellation and a postcard that highlights the numerous activities planned before and during the exhibition. A special copper-embossed cancellation of the logo stands out as the key highlight in the bulletin.

Online Registration and Event Details

A dedicated website, www.mahapex2025.com, has been launched for the convenience of exhibitors, offering an online registration platform. The website will also provide detailed information about the seminars and workshops that will be held during the exhibition.
